Where have you gone, summer?

In an attempt to warm myself up during the -11F weather last week, I got out some pictures from last summer. I look so comfortably warm in this picture, it's no wonder I'm smiling!

The Ears are the Key!

Sure the ears look cute, but it's not just fun and games. More cute is more candy. I think I can double the candy haul of any of these other, ear-less kids.

I can have a pony, right?

According to my dad, there's no room in our backyard for a pony. I don't believe him. I'll ask again in a few seconds.

Let's Go Fly A Kite

I watch a lot of Mary Poppins. A lot. In the Kite song, when they sing "Let's go fly a kite, and send it soaring", I sing "...and send it snoring". Also, in Spoonful of Sugar, when they sing "In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun", I sing "In every job that must be done, there is an elephant for fun." What?! Makes sense to me.

Summer Blockbuster Season is Here!

So many of you have been looking forward to Gymnastics 2: Dancing and Running Around! And it's finally here. Sorry it took us so long, McG was busy with Terminator, JJ Abrams was tied up with Star Trek. But we finally got everybody back together for this highly anticipated summer sequel.

Um, lawsuit anyone?

As faithful readers of my blog probably know, I was not born in this country, but I do now understand one important aspect of American life: the lawsuit. I mean, I don't know who is making money off this so-called "Dora", but I do know I should be getting a cut.

Good enough to eat

My dad is a vegetarian, but even he had to admit this bunny looked mighty tasty!

The Full Princess

Today I decided to play Dress Up Princess. What do you need to play Dress Up Princess?

1) A princess dress. Duh.
2) A crown. Again, duh.
3) Some high-heeled shoes (barely visible...look closely)
and
4) Another princess (no self-respecting princess plays Dress Up Princess alone)

Let's see. Am I forgetting anything? No, I don't think so. Am I? Wait. I think I'm forgetting one thing. Oh yeah! Swim goggles! Of course! Ever since the time of Hans Christian Anderson and The Brothers Grimm, we've all known that a true princess wears swim goggles. Isabel, out!

I'll Tumble For You

My first gymnastics lesson! Some people are in a hurry to get from one end of the mat to the other. Some people aren't.
